Bringing Italian staples together with British seasonal ingredients you can expect to find a twist or two on classic Italian dishes. You might find carpaccio of wild sea bass with sea urchins or perhaps Scialatielli pasta with salt cod and amatriciana sauce. Maybe you’ll want veal Milanese with vignarola salad and burnt gremolata or a lamb chop with Sicilian aubergine and caponata. To finish there’ll be tiramisu croccante and Amalfi lemon tart with sorrel sorbet. Head Sommelier Giovanni Rapagnani has created an international wine list, although over half of the 140 wines will be from Italian regions. Soak up a glass or two with a pizzette, arancini, bruschetta or seasonal pasta dishes.
Open daily, you can drop by for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, stay until 1am for drinks or turn up for a lazy Italian brunch at the weekends.
