Zane Saleh, a London based artist was born in 1993. From a young age, Zane took immense pleasure from painting and drawing. His first major inspirations were the likes of Wassily Kandinsky, Vincent Van Gogh, and Henri Matisse.
Having studied art history whilst working on his own style, Zane found his work aligning with the works of the abstract expressionist movement. Jackson Pollock, Franz Kline, and Willem de Kooning are all artists whom still inspire him today.
For Zane, painting is a deeply personal process. When painting, his principle goal is to create art that speaks to its audience, using loose and expressive brushstrokes to bond them to his emotional reality. As such, with each piece he strives to create an intimate connection to the many and the few, simultaneously.
Osteria 60 will be exhibiting some of the artist's best pieces of art from September 19th until October 27th 2016.
